What is a Dentalplan?

Denplan is a great way to budget for your dental care. Here at Ainsty Dental Practice we offer both Denplan Essentials and Denplan Care.

Denplan Essentials covers your dental examinations and Hygiene visits, and provides a 20% discount on treatment that is required to maintain your oral Health.

Denplan Care offers a more comprehensive package that covers your routine examination and hygiene appointments as well as treatment required. Upon this plan laboratory fees are payable for example if you were to need a crown.

Both plans have an optional fee for insurance for out of hours emergencies and problems when you are away from the area.

Denplan Essentials

We offer dental payment plans arranged by Denplan to help you to budget for your routine dental care with predictable monthly payments. For a cost of £15.61 per month for 2 check-ups and cleans a year per person per month.

Denplan Essentials includes:

  • Dental check-ups
  • Scale and Polishes
  • All necessary x-rays
  • 20% off selected private treatments
  • Worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover (Supplementary Insurance for an additional 60p)

Denplan Care

With Denplan Care you pay for regular dental care the easy way, spreading the costs of your private dental care with predictable monthly payments, from £18.22 per person per month.

Denplan Care Includes:

  • Dental Check-ups
  • Scales and Polishes
  • Restorative Care including fillings, root canal treatment, crowns and bridges (excluding lab fees)
  • Worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover (Supplementary Insurance for an additional 60p)

The Dental Team

Based in York, the Ainsty Dental Team has a total of 10 members. Each specialising in unique procedures to help your needs.

Dr Stephen Davies BChD, MSc Dental Implantology | Dentist

York Dentist Stephen qualified from Leeds University in 1999 gaining the Wattsman prize in clinical dentistry. Stephen opened Ainsty Detail Practice in 2006 and gained his Masters Degree in implantology in 2019.

Dr Rachel Green BChD, MJDF | Dentist
GDC number 104126

Dr Rachel Green qualified from Leeds University in 2006. Since then she has operated as a general dental practitioner in the York and Ryedale areas for over 16 years.

Dr Dhara Khera BDS | Dentist
GDC number 277967

Dr Dhara Khera qualified from Newcastle University in 2018 with a Merit in clinical dentistry. She regularly attends courses to further develop her skills, and is currently undertaking a Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative & Aesthetic Dentistry.
